The Edo State College of Nursing Sciences has officially announced the commencement of admission into its Post Basic and Community Midwifery/Nursing programmes for the 2025/2026 academic session.

Prospective candidates are invited to apply for the following programmes:

1. Post Basic Nursing (18 Months Duration)

   · Entry Requirement: Candidates must possess a WAEC/NECO O'Level or NABTEB certificate with a minimum of five (5) credits, including English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology, obtained in no more than two sittings.

 · Additional Requirement: Applicants must be licensed with the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria as a Registered Midwife (RM).

2. Community Nursing (2 Years Duration)

3. Community Midwifery (2 Years Duration)

 Entry Requirement (for Community Programmes): Candidates must possess a WAEC/NECO O'Level or NABTEB certificate with a minimum of five (5) credits in English Language, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Mathematics, obtained in no more than two sittings.

Application Details:

· The application portal opens on 8th December 2025 and closes on 31st January 2026.

· All applications must be submitted online via the college portal: https://portal.edocns.edu.ng

· A non-refundable application fee of N20,500 is required.

· Important Notice: Hard copy application forms will not be sold. Applicants are required to use a personal, functional email address and phone number for all correspondence. Email addresses from business centres are not acceptable.
