Former Chelsea midfielder, Steve Sidwell has hailed Super Eagles forward, Samuel Chukwueze following his importance in recent games for Fulham.

Chukweze moved to Fulham on loan from AC Milan last summer and now appears to be enjoying life in the Premier League.

The winger has contributed five goals in seven appearances before their game against Crystal Palace.

“He’s been brilliant. He brings that intensity, creativity, guile which is what this Fulham team needs,” Sidwell told Sky Sport.

“He gets in behind, runs off the shoulder and is clever. He gets in real good positions and isn’t happy playing the safe ball.”

The Nigeria international would be joining the Super Eagles soon for the final preparations for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco.

Meanwhile, Chukwueze could not help Fulham as they succumbed to a 2-1 defeat to Crystal Palace in the London derby on Sunday.
