EPL: Salah may have played last Liverpool game – Arne Slot
Liverpool manager, Arne Slot, has claimed Mohamed Salah may have played his last match for the club.
Slot revealed this while speaking to the media on Monday, ahead of their Champions League trip to Inter Milan.
The Dutchman was reacting to Salah’s explosive interview following their 3-3 draw at Leeds United last weekend.
The 33-year-old was left on the bench for 90 minutes at Elland Road.
After the game, Salah told reporters in the mixed zone that “someone doesn’t want him” at Liverpool.
In response, Liverpool have made the decision to drop Salah for the trip to Milan.
Slot said: “I don’t feel that my authority has been undermined. It’s not the way I feel it.
“I’m the manager, I have to pick a team so to a certain extent I’m important, but my focus is on the team and not on me.”
When asked if Salah had played his last game for Liverpool, he replied: “I have no clue. I cannot answer that question at this moment in time.”
