Abia State University (ABSU), Uturu, has announced the 30th Induction and Oath-Taking Ceremony for graduating Doctors of Optometry of the institution.

The announcement, signed by the Registrar, Dr. Acho Elendu, states that the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Ndukwe J. Okeudo, on behalf of the Management and Senate, invites the Academia, Parents, Guardians, and the general public to the ceremony.

According to the notice, the event is scheduled as follows:

Date: Friday, 12th December 2025

Venue: University Auditorium, Abia State University, Uturu

Time: 11:00 a.m.

The university also advised all guests to be seated by 10:30 a.m. ahead of the Vice-Chancellor’s procession.

The ceremony marks a significant milestone for the graduating optometry students as they officially take their professional oath.
