Actress Olayinka Adebanjo Welcomes New Baby After Losing 28-Year-Old Son
Nollywood actress Olayinka Adebanjo is celebrating an overwhelming moment of joy after welcoming a baby boy.
The movie star recently appeared on Biola Bayo’s podcast, Talk to B, where she opened up about years of emotional struggles. She tearfully recalled how people mocked her as “barren” because of her age and shared the pain of losing her only child, a tragedy that deepened her longing to become a mother again.
A viral video captured Olayinka expressing gratitude to everyone who supported her after the podcast episode aired. In the clip, a nurse is seen holding her newborn while the actress thanked her fans and colleague Biola Adebayo for standing by her.
Olayinka also disclosed that she had previously attempted adoption. She explained that she travelled to Abeokuta, Ogun State, and made multiple payments during the adoption process, all of which she said she had receipts for. However, the frustrating experience led her to give up on the idea and focus on conceiving her own child.
Biola Bayo later shared a video from a fertility clinic, appreciating the team for helping Olayinka’s dream of motherhood come true. She revealed that the actress welcomed her baby just ten months after her appearance on the podcast.
Several other celebrities also embraced parenthood in 2025. Actress Georgina Ibeh announced the arrival of her baby on Instagram, while Priscilla, daughter of Iyabo Ojo, and her Tanzanian husband, Juma Jux, also became parents and have been sharing updates with fans.
