Nissi, the sister of Nigerian Grammy-winning singer Burna Boy, has denied claims that their mother, Bose Ogulu, has been dismissed as his manager.

The rumors gained traction after ChaftsAfrica shared what appeared to be an Instagram story from Burna Boy stating that Bose Ogulu would no longer manage him. Additionally, 𝕏 user @Joyfultips wrote, “Just heard Burna Boy fired his mom, this whole thing is getting crazier.”

Responding to these claims, Nissi firmly labeled them as untrue, tweeting simply: “FAKE NEWS.”

The false report surfaced during a period of controversy surrounding Burna Boy’s tour. His ‘No Sign of Weakness’ US tour was reportedly canceled on Wednesday due to low ticket sales.

Separately, Burna Boy recently made headlines during a concert in Denver, United States, after asking a couple to leave for allegedly sleeping while he performed. Midway through his set, he noticed the couple in the front row and instructed the man to escort his girlfriend out. Though they initially resisted, the audience encouraged them to exit, after which Burna Boy resumed his performance.
