The University of Calabar (UNICAL) has announced that its interdenominational service for the 2025/2026 academic session will take place on Monday, 10th November 2025, at the Senator Godswill Akpabio International Conference Centre, University of Calabar. The event is scheduled to begin at 10:00 a.m. prompt.

In a memo signed by the Registrar, Dr. (Mrs.) Chukwuka I. Icha, the Vice-Chancellor directed that all lectures slated between 10:00 a.m. and 12:00 noon on that day be shifted forward to allow staff and students to participate fully in the worship service.

Members of the university community, including staff and students, have been encouraged to attend the service dressed in their UNICAL fabrics to add colour to the event.

The Registrar extended warm wishes to all members of the university community for a spirit-filled experience.
