Former Manchester United midfielder Owen Hargreaves has predicted that the Red Devils will finish in the Premier League top four.

The Englishman made his prediction following Manchester United’s 2-2 draw with Tottenham on Saturday.

“Last season they would have lost this game and, to be fair, it was a game they probably should’ve won,” Hargreaves told TNT Sports.

“There is no European football and if you look at the fixtures coming up – Everton, Palace, West Ham, Wolves – after those, they will be second, I think and they will be in a position where they can strike.

“If you look at that with no European football, Man Utd will finish in the top four.”

Manchester United’s next game is against Everton in the Premier League following the international break.
