Nigerian billionaire and federal lawmaker, Senator Ned Nwoko, has found himself at the center of controversy amid ongoing reports of a marital fallout with Nollywood actress Regina Daniels.

The situation intensified after Regina’s mother, Rita Daniels, allegedly claimed that Nwoko had issued an order for her arrest.

In a now-deleted social media post that circulated widely online, Rita reportedly wrote:

“Ned has issued an arrest warrant against me. I should be arrested on or before Monday.”

This development follows the reported arrest of Regina’s younger brother, Sammy West, who was allegedly detained in Lagos and transferred to Abuja earlier in the week.

Reacting to the news, Regina took to Instagram in an emotional post, claiming that her brother’s arrest was an attempt to pressure her into returning to Nwoko’s home under the guise of “rehabilitation.”

According to reports, Nwoko has accused Regina of substance abuse and claimed she was refusing treatment allegations the actress has neither confirmed nor denied.

Regina’s older brother, Sweezy, also addressed the issue online, describing the gravity of Sammy’s condition and calling for justice.

Amid the tension, Regina hinted she might consider reuniting with her estranged husband if that is what it would take to secure her brother’s release.

In a heartfelt message shared on Instagram, the mother of two expressed deep frustration and emotional pain over her family’s ordeal. She lamented that her brother’s only “offence” was defending her when she needed support.

Regina further voiced her disappointment in the Nigerian justice system, saying her faith in law enforcement had been shattered.

The actress revealed that the situation had left her emotionally drained and helpless, adding that she fears the system favors those in power.

Despite believing her brother has no legal case to answer, Regina suggested that the process appears biased in her estranged husband’s favor.
