MAUTECH update to UTME candidates yet to be admitted, 2025/2026 session

Sequel to the extension of the deadline for admission of applicant to Public Institutions by the JAMB, the Admission Office MAU Yola is hereby calling on applicants NOT ADMITTED in over-subscribed programmes to immediately change to programmes with similar JAMB subject combinations and ‘O’ Levels requirements with available admission spaces.

Any Staff or applicant with admission request MUST ensure that candidate(s) is/are transferred to programmes with available spaces accordingly and appropriately before making further request

Applicants NOT ADMITTED and has the requirements for the programmes applied should check their profile to be sure that their ‘O’ Levels are uploaded.

Also, applicants making transfers from one programme to another should view their profile to ensure that their ‘O’ Levels are intact after such transfer/change of Programme

The table below indicate the possible mobility of students from Over-subscribed programmes to those with available spaces

Those with Maths and Geography in JAMB subject combination can change to Urban and Regional Planning and other programmes with similar ‘O’ Levels requirements and JAMB subject combinations. DE students in Architecture can only be admitted in Geography5Both Law programmesPolitical Science, Sociology, Library and Information Science and other programmes with similar ‘O’ Levels requirements and JAMB subject combinations. Applicants without Government in JAMB subjects and O’ Level result can only change to Library and Information Science6Applicants in Accounting, Economics, Management Technology, Banking and Finance, Information Technology, and Business Education without Mathematics and Economics in JAMB subject combination and O’ LevelsPolitical Science, Sociology (ONLY those with Government in JAMB subject combination and O’ Levels), and Library and Information Science. Those with science-based JAMB subject combination in Information Technology without Economics and Mathematics on their ‘O’ Levels results and JAMB subject combination should change to programme that can accommodate them with such JAMB subject combinations and ‘O’ Levels

NB: Such Changes/transfers MUST be completed/concluded ON OR BEFORE THE 14TH OF November 2025
