Early Life and education
Ky Baldwin is now 24 years old, born on 10 April 2001 in Sydney, Australia. He grew up in New South Wales. His sister Amy Baldwin has been part of his creative journey, appearing alongside him in some of his content. His mother is Sally Baldwin.
From early childhood, he began dance training. At the age of six he joined a program called “Tap Pups” under Dein Perry‘s direction, learning tap dance, and over time expanded his training to other forms such as jazz and hip hop.
In his theatrical early phase, by age seven he was cast in roles such as “Trouble” in Madame Butterfly at the Sydney Opera House. Over the years he also took roles in stage productions including Love Never Dies and Under Milk Wood, and at one point performed as Michael Banks in a stage version of Mary Poppins in Auckland, New Zealand.

Career
Ky Baldwin started out at a young age through his dance skills. In 2011 he appeared on Australia’s Got Talent as a tap dancer, becoming one of the youngest semi-finalists that year. As he matured, he branched into singing, songwriting, acting and other performance avenues.
He has appeared in television and theatre roles in Australia, including guest roles in series such as Spirited, East West 101, and Underbelly: Razor. He also provided the voice of Little Nutbrown Hare in the animated children’s series “Guess How Much I Love You.”
In 2014, he took part in the inaugural season of The Voice Kids (Australia), where he reached the semi-final stage as part of Team Delta.
One of his breakthrough acting roles was portraying the young Peter Allen in the biopic Peter Allen: Not the Boy Next Door. For that performance he won both an AACTA Award for Best Guest or Supporting Actor in a Television Drama and a Logie Award as the Graham Kennedy Breakthrough Star of Tomorrow in 2016.
In music, he released his first EP The Beginning in 2014, containing original songs and covers. Over subsequent years he released additional singles and music videos (for example “Dear Mom,” “Depression Is A Monster,” and a cover of “How Deep Is Your Love”).
He has also collaborated with platforms such as DreamWorksTV and the Disney Channel, and made content as a Disney Diary Vlogger.
Ky moved from Australia to Los Angeles to further his career, and he has participated in competitive parkour / chase-tag events, for example competing in World Chase Tag events as a member of teams such as Tempest and later Hollywood Freerunners. He co-starred in the 2022 Nickelodeon movie remake Snow Day, which streams on Paramount+ as of late 2022.
