The management of the Federal Polytechnic, Offa has officially released the approved academic calendar for the First Semester of the 2025/2026 academic session, following the approval by the Academic Board at its meeting held on Monday, October 27, 2025.

According to the calendar, hostels will open for students on Sunday, December 7, 2025, while fresh and returning students are expected to resume on Monday, December 8, 2025. Registration for both categories of students will also commence on the same day.

Key highlights of the academic calendar include:

Tuesday, December 16, 2025: Academic Board Meeting (Results Consideration).

Monday, December 22, 2025: Resumption of SIWES students and commencement of lectures.

Friday, January 2, 2026: End of registration.

Monday, January 5 – Friday, January 9, 2026: Late registration.

Thursday, February 12, 2026: Convocation ceremony.

Monday, February 16 – Friday, February 20, 2026: Orientation programme for new students.

Thursday, February 26, 2026: Matriculation ceremony.

Friday, March 14, 2026: End of lectures for the first semester (14 weeks).

Monday, March 16 – Friday, March 20, 2026: Revision week.

Monday, March 23 – Friday, March 27, 2026: Practical examinations.

Monday, March 30 – Friday, April 17, 2026: First semester examinations (3 weeks).

Monday, April 20, 2026: Resumption for Second Semester, 2025/2026 academic session.

The Registrar, Soko G.O, who signed the circular, urged all students and staff to take note of the approved dates and adhere strictly to the schedule for a smooth academic session.
