The Vice Chancellor of Admiralty University of Nigeria (ADUN), Professor Christopher Ndubisi Ogbogbo, congratulates newly admitted students and welcomes all students back for the 2025/2026 academic session.

To ensure a smooth resumption, management, through the Student Welfare Board, has established a comprehensive, phased resumption schedule and mandatory guidelines addressing current on-campus accommodation constraints.

Key Academic and Resumption Dates

Following Senate approval, the schedule is as follows:

New Students (100-Level): Resume Sunday, October 26, 2025 (8:00 am – 6:00 pm).

Registration and Orientation begin Monday, October 27, 2025.

Returning Students: Resume Sunday, November 2, 2025. Registration begins Monday, November 3, 2025.

First Semester Lectures: Commence for all students on Monday, November 3, 2025.

Mandatory Phased Accommodation Plan

Due to facility limitations, hostel admission on October 26, 2025, is restricted to:

All 400-Level Students (excluding Law students)

Accommodation Advisory:

200-Level, 300-Level, and 400-Level Law students will not be admitted to university hostel.

Parents/Guardians for these students must arrange off-campus accommodation for the interim period. Staff (porters) must strictly adhere to this directive..

Mandatory Student Conduct and Hostel Guidelines

All students must observe these regulations:

Financial Clearance: Hostel/room allocation requires a clearance form from the Bursary Unit after all fees are settled. Students are responsible for their belongings' safety.

Prohibited Items: Heating elements (except for certified medical needs), sex toys, illicit drugs/substances, and specific food items (noodles, spaghetti, custard) are banned. Students are encouraged to use the University Cafeteria.

Dress Code: Indecent clothing (torn trousers, low-waist jeans, revealing tops) is prohibited. Dreadlocks are also listed as restricted attire.

Conduct & Security: Fighting, violence, tampering with hostel facilities, and membership in unauthorized anonymous social media groups are strictly forbidden. Hostel residents need a pass to leave campus.

Admission Documentation for New Students

Students who haven't finalized admission must present six photocopies each of: ADUN Admission Letter, JAMB Admission Letter/Result Slip, Fee Payment Evidence, O’Level Results, State of Origin/Birth Certificates (or Affidavit of Age), Sponsorship Letter (if applicable), Medical Fitness Certificate (from a government hospital), fourteen passport photographs, and Post-UTME Registration Fee Evidence.

The Student Welfare Board, chaired by Prof. Bernard Onyekweli Ejechi, is working to ensure a welcoming environment through orientation and campus tours.
