According to the document issued by the Office of the Registrar, the Harmattan Semester begins on Tuesday, November 4, 2025, with the arrival of new students to campus. Registration for new students commences on Wednesday, November 5, while returning students resume on Thursday, November 6, 2025.

Harmattan Semester 2025/2026

Lectures for all students begin on Monday, November 10, 2025, and run through Friday, February 27, 2026.

Convocation Ceremony holds on Thursday, December 4, 2025.

.Christmas and New Year Break is scheduled from December 22, 2025, to January 4, 2026.

Matriculation Ceremony for new students is slated for Saturday, February 14, 2026.

Lecture-free and revision week runs from March 2 to March 6, 2026, followed by the Harmattan Semester Examinations beginning March 9, 2026.

Eid-El-Fitr Holidays fall between March 16 and 19, 2026, with exams concluding by March 27, 2026.

The Harmattan Semester Break begins on Monday, March 30, 2026.

Rain Semester 2025/2026

The Rain Semester is scheduled to commence on Monday, April 19, 2026, with lectures spanning 14 weeks.

The semester runs through July 31, 2026, which marks the revision week.

Rain Semester Examinations will begin on Monday, August 3, 2026, and conclude by Saturday, August 15, 2026.

The End-of-Session Break starts on Saturday, August 22, 2026, while the Eid-El-Maulud Holiday will be observed on Wednesday, August 26, 2026.
