Bradford Futures Scholarship 2026 at the University of Bradford, UK

The University of Bradford Futures Scholarship is for deserving undergraduate students, specifically targeting home-fee paying students who fulfill the criteria outlined in the Widening Participation Plan. Eligibility: 

Applicants must be:

  • New, first-degree undergraduate students (including foundation year entrants).

  • Enrolled full-time at the University of Bradford.

  • Classified as Home-fee paying students.

Additionally, applicants must meet at least one of the following criteria:

  • From a low participation area (POLAR 4 Quintile 1 or 2).

  • From a low household income or low socioeconomic background.

  • Identify as BAME (Black, Asian, or Minority Ethnic).

  • Have a disability.

  • Be a young carercare leaver, or estranged from parents.

  • Hold refugee or asylum seeker status (not already receiving the Sanctuary Scholarship).

  • Be an adult learner (aged 25 and above).

 

Value: 

  • £1,500 per academic year (paid directly to the student).

  • Renewable for up to 4 years, subject to satisfactory academic progress.

  • May be awarded alongside other University bursaries such as:

    • The Standard Undergraduate Bursary, and/or

    • The Academic Excellence Scholarship.
