Peter Okoye Speaks On Shame And Success After Hanging Out With Billionaire Dangote

Some Nigerians have expressed mixed feelings over a recent post by Peter Okoye, one half of the defunct music duo P-Square.

The singer took to social media to share photos of himself in conversation with Africa’s richest man, Aliko Dangote, at what appeared to be a restaurant.

In his caption, Okoye reflected on the concepts of shame and hardship, noting that wealthy individuals rarely concern themselves with embarrassment when pursuing new opportunities. He encouraged his followers to adopt a similar mindset to go after what they want without fear of judgment.

However, his message has stirred debate online. While some fans praised his motivational words, others criticized him for posting photos with Dangote, drawing comparisons between him and fellow artist Mr. Eazi.

@AmosSoma37877:”Facts only! The moment you stop letting “what people will say” control you, your whole life changes. Confidence and consistency pay way more than pride ever will.”

@InnoAnawanti:”Absolutely, as shame is the invisible chain that keeps many from unlocking their potential. The rich learned long ago that progress demands embarrassment, failure, and risk, all embraced publicly. Freedom begins when you stop caring how your ambition looks and start caring how far it can take you.”

@Darius1780875:”Baba trying to figure out what you’ve been saying for the past 5min in the second slide.”

@JosephJesugbemi:Good afternoon all. I have a BSC Sociology degree, I was doing a POS business but I had to close it as I don’t have money to continue.”

@MaziOdih:”Senior Man, if you give me a chance, 5 minutes to make a detailed introduction of my startup. GLOBESIDE LEAGUE, it’ll raise the biggest entertainment franchise in Africa and in 15 years time we’ll boldly recreate this picture 💯 Sir, let’s build something great for the next Gen.”
