Punjabi Star Rajvir Jawanda Dies at 35 After Tragic Motorbike Accident
Punjabi singer and actor Rajvir Jawanda has di£d at the age of 35, days after a tragic motorbike accident.
The artist was placed on life support for 11 days at Fortis Hospital before doctors confirmed his passing. Rajvir had reportedly swerved to avoid cattle on the road, resulting in severe head and spinal injuries. Doctors had earlier described his condition as “extremely critical with minimal brain activity and no significant improvement.”
He is survived by two young children.
Tributes have poured in across social media. One fan wrote: “Rajvir Jawanda is no more! May Waheguru bless his soul and give family and friends courage to bear the loss!! What a loss…”
Punjabi star Neeru Bajwa also mourned him, saying: “Heartbroken by the tragic loss of such a young and promising life. Sending deepest condolences to the family and loved ones of rajvirjawandaofficial. May you find strength and peace during this unimaginable time. Gone far too soon, but never forgotten.”
Rajvir, a former police officer, began his music career in 2014 with Munda Like Me and gained fame with Kali Jawande in 2016. He was also known for hit songs like Tu Dis Painda, Khush Reha Kar, Landlord, and Afreen, as well as films such as Subedar Joginder Singh and Mindo Taseeldarni.
