UNIILESA approved academic calendar for 2025/26 SESSION

The management of the University of Ilesa has officially released the academic calendar for the first semester of the 2025/2026 academic session, outlining key academic and administrative activities.


According to the schedule, fresh students across all faculties are expected to resume on November 3, 2025, while screening exercises for the new intakes will run from November 3 to November 7, 2025. Their orientation programme has been fixed for November 10 to 14, 2025.


Returning students in 200 level are to resume on November 17, 2025, with the commencement of online registration for both fresh and 200 level students on the same date. First semester lectures for these categories of students will begin on November 24, 2025. Registration closes on November 28, 2025, while late registration with penalty runs from December 1 to December 5, 2025.

For 300 level students, resumption is scheduled for December 1, 2025, and lectures commence on December 15, 2025, following their online registration which holds between December 1 and December 12, 2025.

The university has slated matriculation for December 11, 2025, while Christmas and New Year break begins on December 22, 2025, and ends on January 4, 2026. Mid-semester tests for fresh and 200 level students come up between January 19 and January 30, 2026, while that of 300 level students holds from February 2 to February 6, 2026.

Lectures for fresh and 200 level students end on February 27, 2026, followed by a revision week from March 2 to March 6, 2026. Their first semester examinations begin on March 9, 2026, and end on March 27, 2026. For 300 level students, lectures end on March 19, 2026, with exams scheduled for March 30 to April 10, 2026.

The academic calendar also shows that the semester break for fresh and 200 level students will run from March 30 to April 21, 2026, while 300 level students will observe theirs from April 13 to April 19, 2026. Marking and submission of results are expected to take place between March 30 and April 24, 2026.

The institution emphasized that the schedule is binding on all faculties and departments to ensure a smooth academic sessions
