Popular Nigerian TikTok creator Jarvis also known as Jadrolita and born Amadou Elizabeth Aminata has become one of the country’s first proud owners of the newly released iPhone 17. The luxury smartphone was a surprise present from her partner, Habeeb Hamzat, better known as Peller.

On Tuesday, September 23, Jarvis posted a video on her social media page showing her excitement as she unboxed the iPhone 17 Pro Max. She explained that Peller had promised her the device as a reward for the hard work she put into her recent AI-themed film, and he kept his word.

In the clip, Jarvis urged Nigerian women not to feel pressured to buy expensive gadgets, reassuring them that “when the time is right, you will get it.” Between gleeful laughs, she affectionately referred to Peller as “my baby.”

Current prices for the iPhone 17 Pro in Nigeria range from about ₦3.15 million to ₦4.95 million, according to Apple Premium Store listings.

Jarvis’s unboxing video of the high-end gift quickly drew attention online, with fans congratulating her on the thoughtful gesture.
