Babcock University warns prospective students on fake admission letters

The attention of Babcock University has been drawn to the activities of fraudulent individuals who are circulating fake admission forms in the name of the University. These criminally minded persons have been defrauding unsuspecting members of the public of their hard-earned money under the guise of offering them admission into Babcock University.


Please note that these persons are not recognised employees of Babcock University, and any admission and financial transactions undertaken with them are fraudulent. The activities of these fraudulent persons have been reported to the appropriate security agencies for investigation and prosecution of those found culpable.

The University hereby states categorically that:

- Babcock University has no admissions agent anywhere in the world. The Public is therefore advised not to pay any money whatsoever and by whatever name called (application fee, acceptance of admission fee, school fees, processing fee, tuition fees or any other fees or charges) to any person(s) or company on behalf of Babcock University. All financial transactions with Babcock University must be done directly with the University and in the University's name.

- All information regarding the University's admission exercise is communicated only through the University’s official communication channels including website www.babcock.edu.ng.

NO GENUINE BABCOCK UNIVERSITY STAFF OR REPRESENTATIVE WILL ASK ANY APPLICANT/ CANDIDATE TO PAY MONEY INTO ANY PRIVATE ACCOUNT.

The University’s official application form is only accessible online through the university’s designated admission portal.

Any person or group claiming to sell admission forms or offer admission outside the official channel is engaging in fraudulent activity.

Anyone who transacts with such individuals does so at his/her own risk. Babcock University will not be held liable for any loss or damages arising from dealings with these impostors.

The general public is hereby advised to exercise caution and verify all admission-related information through the official channels of the University.

We urge all applicants to remain vigilant and verify any admission matters and requests for payments by contacting the university’s official numbers.
