FUOYE to resume academic activities on October 6 for 2025/2026 Session
The Federal University, Oye Ekiti (FUOYE) has approved the academic calendar for the 2025/2026 session, setting the stage for another year of excellence, innovation, and transformative learning at the institution.
A release by the university Registrar, Mr. Mufutau Ibrahim through the Public Relations Officer of the University, Mr. Foluso Ogunmodede stated that in the approved calendar, the new session will officially commence on Monday, 6th October, 2025, with the arrival of both fresh and returning students into the hall of residence.
In a statement, signed by the university Registrar, Mr. Mufutau Ibrahim said “this is to inform all students that the university management has approved Monday, 6th October, 2025 as the official date of resumption for the 2025/2026 academic session. All students on resumption for the 2025/2026 academic session are advised to take note of this and comply accordingly.”
However, the university wishes to restate its commitment to delivering a structured and flexible academic year that would support intellectual growth, innovation, and holistic student development.
The university looks forward to welcoming its new intakes and returning students as they continue their pursuit of excellence.
Meanwhile, the returning students had been considered for the 2025/2026 hostel accommodation allocations.

“All students, who applied for spaces in the university hostel are required to confirm their hostel allocation status on the student portal starting from Wednesday, 24th September, 2025,”
“Make payment for hostel allocation via the student portal,”
“Present proof of payment at the Students Affairs Division,”
“Obtain the Hostel Dues account number from the Students Affairs Division,”
“Pay the prescribed amount into the Hostel Dues account,”
“Submit photocopies of both the hostel allocation fee receipt and the hostel dues receipt to collect the Hostel Code of Conduct (HCC) Booklet which contains the undertaking form, room and bed space number,”
“Make two photocopies of the page containing your room number in the HCC Booklet,”
“Submit one copy to the Hostel accommodation officer in the Students Affairs Division, and “
“Present the other copy to the Hostel Supervisor at your allocated hostel for check -in.” The university hostel will open to receive students on Monday, 6th October, 2025, Adeyemo said.
