Nigerian singer Peter Okoye, popularly known as Mr P and formerly one half of the iconic PSquare duo, recently found himself in a heated online exchange with a social media user.

The drama began on X (formerly Twitter) when a fan urged Peter to put aside his differences with his twin brother, Paul Okoye also known as Rudeboy and revive their famous partnership. Drawing a political comparison, the user advised him to “be like Wike and Fubara,” prioritize money over emotions, and reunite for the sake of their fans.

The commenter lamented missing PSquare’s music and criticized Peter’s solo career, suggesting he looked like “an upcoming artist struggling with his music.”

Peter wasted no time firing back, replying, “Cry harder!” and punctuating the message with a bucket emoji.

Unfazed, the fan doubled down, claiming he had once helped PSquare’s music gain global traction. He expressed disappointment, saying it was painful to watch a “living legend” decline because of “pride and bad advice.”

Peter responded again this time with even more bucket emojis, reinforcing his dismissive stance.
