Odera Mbadiwe, the elder brother of former Big Brother Naija stars, the Mbadiwe twins, has expressed heartfelt gratitude to Nigerians after his recent disappearance sparked widespread concern.

The hospitality entrepreneur had been reported missing a few days earlier by his sibling in a social media post. In a statement following his safe return, Odera said he was overwhelmed by the love and support he received during the three days he was unaccounted for.

According to him, harmful substances had been introduced into his system, leaving him incapacitated. He explained that a young woman and a man found him in distress on the roadside and quickly reached out to his family, a gesture he described as life-saving.

Odera also commended the Nigerian police and other security agencies for their swift efforts to ensure he was reunited with his loved ones. He assured well-wishers that he is on the mend and regaining strength each day.

Reflecting on the experience, he said the incident taught him valuable lessons about community, compassion, and faith. Fans flooded social media with messages of thanksgiving, cautioning him to be more vigilant. Some urged him never to leave drinks unattended in public, while others warned that even trusted friends might pose a risk in such situations.
