Comedian Alibaba Speaks on Charlie Kirk’s Death, Expresses Relief Over Suspect’s Identity

Veteran comedian Atunyota Alleluya Akpobome, popularly known as Alibaba, has expressed relief that the suspected killer of conservative activist Charlie Kirk is not a Black or Arab man.

According to him, while Kirk’s assassination is tragic, it would have been “worse” if the perpetrator had been Black or Brown. Alibaba admitted he felt an unusual sense of relief when the suspect, identified as 22-year-old Tyler Robinson from Utah, was revealed.

Robinson, from a pro-gun conservative family, once dressed as Trump for Halloween. Though registered as a nonpartisan voter, he had become more critical of Kirk in recent years, accusing him of “spreading hate.”

Robinson briefly attended Utah State University in 2021 on a scholarship before dropping out, despite scoring an impressive 34 on his ACT.
