Reality TV star and comedian Aderombi Adedayo, popularly known as Deeone, has shared his experience at Chef Hilda Baci’s recent attempt to set another Guinness World Record.

The celebrity chef, who already holds a Guinness title, embarked on a challenge to prepare the largest pot of Jollof rice at Eko Hotel, Lagos. The event drew a massive crowd eager to taste her food, among them Deeone, who later recounted his ordeal.

According to a video he posted on Instagram, the comedian revealed he paid ₦4,000 for parking at the venue but still faced difficulties accessing the event. He also shared footage of himself being jostled in the crowd as he tried to get closer to the cooking area.

To his disappointment, Deeone disclosed that he left without tasting the Jollof rice. In a playful jab, he teased Hilda by asking how long it would take her to cook beans instead.

The entertainer further described the large number of eager food lovers at the cookathon as “Ratels,” joking that going too long without eating gives him headaches. He also compared the stress of the experience with the simplicity of just buying food at a restaurant.

Adding some humor, Deeone clarified that the shine on his lips was from lip gloss—not from Hilda’s Jollof rice.
