“He Who Digs A Pit Will Fall In”- Chiwetalu Agu Shuts Down Death Rumour, Warns Blogger

Veteran Nollywood actor Chiwetalu Agu has dismissed recent rumours suggesting he had passed away.

The popular actor, known for frequently sharing thoughts on love and life online, revealed that he stumbled upon a blog post announcing his supposed death. Expressing his anger, Agu warned the blogger responsible, declaring that he would outlive them. He further cautioned that anyone who digs a pit for another will end up falling into it.

In a video reaction, the actor emphasized that he is not near death, stating that he still looks forward to welcoming and carrying his grandchildren in the future.

Agu went on to mock the blogger, saying if the individual had a larger following, they could have profited from the post. Upon checking their page, however, he noticed low engagement and described the rumour as both careless and harmful.

He also noted that some unsuspecting fans might take such false claims seriously, which makes the issue more concerning.

This is not the first time a celebrity has faced death rumours. Just a few months ago, legendary musician Ebenezer Obey Fabiyi was also reported dead, a claim he quickly debunked while warning against the spread of fake news.
