Nigerian online critic Daniel Regha reacted to a post shared by Florence Otedola, popularly known as DJ Cuppy.

Cuppy, who often shares updates about her dating life and admirers on social media, recently posted:

“This guy at church just TRIED to flirt o. You staying for second service?” 😃

Responding to her post, Regha criticized Cuppy for being insensitive. He noted that, in light of the ongoing tragedy surrounding Phyna’s sister Ruth’s death—after she was crushed by a Dangote truck Cuppy could have used her platform to address the incident.

Regha also referenced the relationship between Cuppy’s father and Aliko Dangote, whose truck was involved in the accident that claimed Ruth’s life.

In his words:

“Cuppy to be honest people take ur relationship dramas and situationships as content, at this point the public couldn’t care less. Best wishes if it eventually clicks for you. That said, learn to think of others other than yourself, you’re always quick to know when you’re trending but never voice out when others are the topic of serious conversations.”

“Dangote’s trucks are ruining lives, your dad is a friend of Dangote, so how about you show some empathy and concern. It’s not by making it big, real lives are being affected and you can use ur platform as a so-called philanthropist to at least show support. No offense.”
