Martins Vincent Otse, popularly known as VDM, has weighed in on the trending video of Phyna discussing Dangote and her sister, Ruth.

The incident involving Phyna’s sister, Ruth Otabor, whose leg was amputated after an accident with a Dangote truck driver, has continued to gain traction across social media.

According to Phyna, she had been in communication with representatives of Dangote, and they had initially reached an agreement to support Ruth’s treatment. As part of the plan, Ruth was transferred to Lagoon Hospital in Lagos.

However, to Phyna’s surprise, the representatives later stated that they would be seeking medical advice on the best course of action for Ruth, seemingly going back on their earlier promise to fly her abroad for treatment. Matters grew worse when Phyna revealed that the official she had been liaising with stopped responding to her messages for over a day, raising her suspicion of foul play.

In response to Phyna’s outcry, VDM accused her of being manipulative and went on to share his side of the story. He explained that Phyna had reached out to him after her sister’s accident, and since he was in Lagos at the time, he invited her to meet him. During that meeting, they sat with some representatives of Dangote, and another meeting involving VDM and a lawyer was scheduled for the following day.

According to VDM, Phyna later informed him that she attended the meeting with her own lawyer instead because the representatives allegedly claimed they were “afraid of VDM.” Despite this, VDM said he still sent her a message cautioning her to remain vigilant, as he suspected something was amiss.

After narrating his version of events, VDM issued a strong warning to Dangote, insisting that Ruth’s life must not be put at risk. He further threatened that if anything happened to her, Dangote’s business operations in Edo State would be forcefully halted.

VDM said:

“Phyna even though I have forgiven you I just hope you have learnt that this life you should be careful who you use,you used me and now they are playing you…..I forgive you and I still love you genuinely and I hope your sister is taken care of.”
