UK-Based Nigerian Lady Advises Phyna to Get a Lawyer in Ongoing Dangote Group Saga

A UK-based Nigerian woman has reacted to reality star Phyna’s ongoing dispute with the Dangote Group over her sister’s accident, warning her to seek legal representation instead of relying on verbal agreements and chat records.

The woman, in a viral video, stressed that multinational companies operate strictly by policy and documentation, cautioning that Phyna could be left vulnerable without legal backing.

She said:
“Word of mouth no dey hold water anywhere in the world… Phyna, Dangote Group is asking you for a doctor’s letter because they know no doctor will give you that letter. You said, and I quote, that the doctor said your sister is fit to be flown abroad. Where is the evidence?”

Highlighting potential risks, she warned that Dangote could easily deny responsibility:
“They can come out tomorrow and say that man you’ve been chatting with is not in a position of authority to authorize anything. What do you do then?”

The woman explained that when dealing with multinational corporations, everything must be backed by legal documents:
“Phyna, lawyer up. If you drag Dangote from now till tomorrow, nothing is going to change. Word of mouth is not legally binding in any way. Chats don’t hold in law. Document everything you’re doing with them.”

While expressing sympathy for Phyna’s sister’s condition, she concluded with a firm piece of advice:
“All the best to you and your sister. Justice for your sister. And I pray all works out for you. But the earlier you lawyer up, the better for you.”

The statement has further fueled online conversations around Phyna’s calls for accountability from Dangote Group following the tragic incident that left her sister severely injured.
