The Governing Council, Adeyemi Federal University of Education (AFUED), Ondo has approved the appointment of substantive Bursar, Librarian and two Directors. The appointments take effect from 13th August, 2025.

They are: Mrs. Taiwo Olufunmilayo Adedoyin Bursar; Dr. Azino Oscarand Akpokurerie, University Librarian; Engineer Kehinde Folorunsho Akintade, Director Physical Planning, Works and Services and Dr. Ibukun-Ola Eddison Johnson, Director of Health Services.

Adedoyin was born on 14th June, 1973 in Akoko North West, Ondo State. She had her Secondary School Education at the Federal Government Girls’ College, Akure where she obtained her SSCE certificate in the year 1990. She proceeded to Ondo State University now Ekiti State University, Ado-Ekiti where she bagged B.Sc (Hons) in Accounting in the year 1997. She has a Master’s degree in Business Administration from the prestigious Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife and Diploma Certificate in Computer Techniques and Applications (Advanced) – University of Ibadan. 

Her work experience started when she had her National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) at Trans International Bank Plc, Head Office, Dugbe Ibadan. She later joined the service of Adeyemi College of Education, now Adeyemi Federal University of Education, Ondo on 19th May, 1999 as Accountant II and she rose through the ranks to the position of a Deputy Bursar on 27 of May 2015 and now appointed as the University Bursar. 

Adedoyin belongs to different Professional bodies such as; Fellow, Association of National Accountants Nigeria (FCNA); Associate Member, Nigerian Institute of Management. (Chartered); Associate Member, Institute of Finance and Control of Nigeria; Associate Member, Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Nigeria – (ICPAN).  

In further recognition of her expertise and contributions to professionalism, she was appointed by the Association of National Accountants of Nigeria as member of Anti-Corruption Strategy committee of the association from May 2024 till date. 

She is a dedicated, organized and methodical individual. She has good interpersonal skills, and is also an excellent team worker, who is keen, and very willing to learn and develop new skills, especially in her profession - Accounting.

Mrs. Taiwo Adedoyin has attended several international and local Conferences/Training in Accounting and other related courses.     

Her hobbies include Reading, Cooking and Travelling. 

She is happily married to Dr. A. A. Adedoyin, a Medical Practitioner.

Dr. Azino Oscarand Akpokurerie, an accomplished scholar, holds a B.Sc.Ed (Hons) in Library Science degree from the Delta State University, Abraka, Delta State and a Master’s degree in Library and Information Science – Information Technology degree as well as Doctorate Degree in the same discipline from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka.

He has over 20years of professional experience, and has served in various capacities across leading Universities in Nigeria. Prior to his appointment, Dr. Akpokurerie served as Ag. Deputy Chief Librarian, Nigerian Stored Products Research Institute Library, Ilorin; Supervisor of Warri Refinery Cooperative Society, Ekpan, Delta State; Trainee Librarian, Warri Refinery and Petrochemical Company, Ekpan, Delta State; Acting Polytechnic Librarian, Ogwashi-Uku Polytechnic; Librarian, Federal Polytechnic, Ekowe; College Librarian, Adeyemi College of Education, Ondo, (now Adeyemi Federal University of Education) and Acting University Librarian, Adeyemi Federal University of Education, Ondo. 

His efforts not only expanded access to knowledge but also positioned the library as a hub of academic excellence. Dr. Akpokurerie, has contributed to knowledge with over 84 publications to his credit in local and international Journals.

Dr. Akpokurerie is happily Married and blessed with children.

Engineer Kehinde Folorunso Akintade born 54 years ago hails from Ondo in Ondo West Ondo State and holds a Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineer from Federal University of Technology, Akure, Ondo State 1990-1997; Master’s Degree (MA) in Environmental Management from University of Ado-Ekiti, Ekiti State 2000-2002 respectively.

Engineer Akintade began his career in the University as Engineer II in April 1999. He rose through the ranks to become Chief Engineer and Deputy Director at the Directorate Physical Planning, Works and Services in the University between October 2013 and 2017.

Engr. Akintade is a member of several professional bodies which includes: Nigerian Society of Engineers (MSE), Institute of Civil Engineers (ICE) and Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN).

Engr. Akintade Kehinde is happily married with promising Children.

Dr. Ibukun-ola Eddison Johnson was born 55 years ago, hails from Irun Akoko in Akoko North West, Ondo State and holds MBBS from University of Benin, Edo State in 1999 and a Master in Public Health (MPH) degree from Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife in 2022.

Dr. Johnson began his medical career in the University as Medical Officer in 2007 and rose through the ranks to the position of Medical Officer, Principal Medical Officer from 2020 to 2024.

In addition, the medical practitioner also served in various positions in the University which include: Coordinator, Clinical Meetings, Health Centre; Member, University Sport Committee; Staff adviser, Prevent Aids Society, Adeyemi Federal University of Education, Ondo; Member constitution review committee, Adeyemi staff cooperative Multipurpose Society; Member, Junior staff selection panel; Member, investigative disciplinary committee; Quality Assurance and Resource person, Directorate of Gender and Sustainable Development (AFUED).

He equally served as Director, Health Services at Federal Polytechnic Ile-Oluji from 2024 to 2025 where he undertook one year sabbatical leave.

Dr. Johnson is happily married with beautiful children.
