Anchor University Post-UTME screening notice for 2025/2026 Session

This is to notify all UTME and Direct Entry candidates who applied for admission into Anchor University for the 2025/2026 academic session that the Post-UTME Screening Exercise has been scheduled as follows:

Physical Screening
For candidates residing in Southwest states

- Venue: Anchor University Campus

- Date: Tuesday, 26th August 2025

- Time: 9:00 AM

Online Screening
For candidates from states outside the Southwest region

-Mode: Online (coordinated from Anchor University Campus)

- Date: Thursday, 28th August 2025

- Time: 9:00 AM

Eligibility Criteria
Candidates who selected Anchor University as their first choice and scored 150 and above in the 2025 UTME are eligible to participate in the screening exercise.

Candidates who chose Anchor University as their second choice or did not select it at all are strongly advised to effect a change of institution on the JAMB portal, making Anchor University their first choice to qualify for the screening.

Specific Admissions Requirements
Candidates must possess five (5) 'O' Level credit passes in relevant subjects at not more than two (2) sittings. Candidates who are still awaiting their results are not required to attend the first screening exercise.

Only candidates who are 16 years by 30th September, 2025 are eligible for admission while those who are under 16 can apply for JUPEB or Diploma Programme

Required Documents for the Screening Exercise
Candidates are expected to come along with the following original documents:

  • Original copy of O'Level result(s) (WAEC/NECO)

  • JAMB result printout

  • A copy of the completed Anchor University application form

  • Birth certificate or sworn declaration of age

  • Scratch card(s) for result verification (e.g., WAEC/NECO)

The screening exercise will consist of an oral interaction during which all submitted documents will be thoroughly verified. Candidates are advised to come prepared with the required documents and be ready to respond confidently to a range of questions.
