Etinosa Idemudia Rebukes Uriel Oputa Over Comments on Fabian Adibe’s Death
Nollywood actress Etinosa Idemudia has criticized BBNaija star Uriel Oputa over her comments mourning veteran actor Fabian Adibe, who died at 82 on August 20.
Uriel had hinted at “fake love,” saying nobody checked on him while alive.
In response, Etinosa stressed that colleagues and fans have every right to mourn, whether they visited him or not, adding that people face their own struggles.
She urged respect for the late actor’s memory without negativity.
“Agreed, we all have the right to give however we want. But every time a celebrity dies, there’s always that one person looking for a fight about ‘don’t post him, don’t show fake love. ‘ His colleagues and fans have every right to show sadness over his passing, whether they checked on him or not. It is not fake love. Everyone has something they are dealing with, and your uncle didn’t check in on anyone either when he was strong. Let’s not always soil a great person’s memorial with unnecessary fights/bad energy. Allow people show love however they can. Be kind to one other cos people you are calling out are also going through this life and it’s challenges. Please accept my sincere condolences”.
