According to a circular released by the Registrar of the University, Dr. Bala Isyaka Ahmed II on Wednesday 20th August 2025, states that all candidates who applied for B.Sc. Mass Communication in the 2025/2026 UTME/DE are required to change their course of study to any of the above-listed programmes to enable them to participate in the ongoing Post-UTME exercise.

Furthermore, candidates who applied for Estate Management are hereby advised to change their course to Urban and Regional Planning, as the university does not offer Estate Management.

In the same vein, candidates who applied for Agriculture should change their course to any of the following programmes:

Animal Science

Agronomy

This directive is necessary as the University does not offer Estate Management or Agriculture as a single programme.

By this notice, all concerned candidates are strongly advised to make the necessary changes promptly to be eligible to participate in the Post-UTME screening exercise.

NOTE: The general public is to note that the closing date for the Post-UTME exercise remains 29th August, 2025.
