Kwam 1: Kate Henshaw Slams Aviation Authorities Over Alleged VIP Privilege in Viral Airport Video
Veteran actress Kate Henshaw has slammed Nigeria’s aviation authorities over a viral video of Fuji legend K1 De Ultimate allegedly delaying a flight while standing close to an aircraft ready for takeoff, calling out the “anyhowness” and privilege in the system.
“Anyhowness of this country!!
How is a passenger allowed to stand so close to an aircraft whose doors have closed, engine started & it’s ready for takeoff?
If na ordinary Nigerian like me now, agenda go agend.
Make we continue to move like we are in the zoo pls! It suits us.”
As expected, her post triggered a wildfire of reactions.
@IamEriOluwa: “All animals are equal but some are just more equal than the others… Until we decide to follow the values that Old Major spoke about, we’ll keep having this anyhowness of the zoo.”
@eatable_chidi: “If na ordinary Nigerian, the person for don dey sweat for police detention.”
@JLemon007: “They for don knock ordinary Nigerian with terrorism charge.”
@faka_strange: “This can never happen at JFK or Heathrow. And it’s the fact that some people are blaming the pilot for me.”
But things turned a little sour when one commenter tried to drag the actress personally.
@AyodeleGeorge10: “Old ostrich, use your age wisely… Even you, you will not be treated as an ordinary Nigerian.”
