The Student Union Government (SUG) of the Federal University of Petroleum Resources, Effurun (FUPRE), through the Office of the Director of Sports, has officially announced the commencement of the highly anticipated VC Sports Festival 2025.

Described as FUPRE’s largest and most prestigious sporting event, the VC Sports Festival promises to deliver a thrilling season of intense matchups, strategic gameplay, and unforgettable moments that will unite the student body through the spirit of sportsmanship.

Festival Timeline:

Opening Ceremony: Monday, August 11th, 2025

Closing Ceremony & Awards: Friday, September 12th, 2025

With over a month of exciting matchups, the event will cut across indoor and outdoor sports, giving students a wide range of activities to showcase their skills and support their faculties and departments.
