Nicki Minaj Challenges Dez Bryant To $10M Fight, Involves Her Husband
Rapper Nicki Minaj and former Dallas Cowboys star Dez Bryant are locked in a heated online feud that includes personal insults, old controversies, and even a $10 million fight challenge.
The drama started from a separate issue involving Cowboys linebacker Micah Parsons and team owner Jerry Jones. Jones claimed that Dez Bryant and Roc Nation founder Jay-Z “ghosted” him after agreeing to a past contract deal, a statement both Bryant and Roc Nation quickly denied. Bryant responded by warning Jones to “back off” or risk having the full story revealed.
Although she wasn’t part of the NFL drama, Minaj who has an ongoing feud with Roc Nation jumped in on social media. Aiming at Bryant, she tweeted:
“How about we play a game? Every time you do a ‘Jerry Jones’ or ‘NFL’ story time, I’ll do a ‘story time’ of my own.”
Bryant replied with a GIF captioned: “I want to play a game.”
Minaj fired back:
“All my stories will be about ROC NATION, JAYZ & THE ALLEGED RACIST DESIREE PEREZ, ROC NATION CEO. I hope you fully understand the rules. It’s your turn.”
The situation escalated quickly.
Bryant first tried to cool things down, saying he was a fan of Minaj, but she brought up his 2012 arrest over an alleged incident with his mother something he has repeatedly said was misunderstood.
Bryant hit back by mentioning Minaj’s husband, Kenneth Petty, a registered sex offender, posting:
“I don’t get how you can even be on the internet with your husband being a sex offender… so come on.”
Minaj didn’t step back. She challenged Bryant to a $10 million fight and even dragged his father into the feud with new accusations.
Bryant responded:
“I’ll take your money and beat your husband up in front of you.”
After that exchange, Minaj went silent.
