DURATION OF STUDY
PGD:2-4 Semesters (Engineering: 4-6 Semester)
Master:4-6 Semesters
Ph.D: 6-10 Semesters
M.Phil/Ph.D: Minimum 2 Semesters before transition
CLOSING DATE
Two (2) months from the date of this advertisement
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
i. Minimum of 5 O' Level credit passes including English language and Mathematics.
ii. Minimum of a Third Class Degree in any discipline in the University of Uyo or any other University recognized by the Senate of the University for PGDs.
iii. Higher National Diploma not below a lower credit from any discipline recognized by the Senate of the University of Uyo.
iv. NYSC Certificate (Discharge/ Exemption/Exclusion)
v. Department specific requirements Research proposal for PGD, Master & Ph.D applicants
vi. Academic transcripts and 3 reference letters
METHOD OF APPLICATION
1. Accessing the admissions portal
Click on "Admission's Portal or go directly to
Click on Apply Now
For first-time users, click on "Create Account"
Fill in the required information
Submit and verify your email to activate your account
2. Login and Complete Payment via Remita Platform
Navigate to the "Application Fee" section
Generate a Remita Retrieval Reference (RRR) for the application fee
Malle payment online or at bank branches with the RRR
Select the Application Type (Masters, PGD, PhD etc)
After successful payment, return to the portal and confirm your payment
3. Complete Application Form
Navigate to the "Application Form" section
Click "Start New Application"
Fill in required information
Upload all relevant documents, including research proposals in PDF format.
Submit the completed Form
4. Print Acknowledgement Slip
Printout the 2025/2026 Post Graduate Application Form "No hard copy submission of any relevant documents
