Chelsea on Wednesday confirmed that their player Ishe Samuels-Smith has completed a permanent transfer to French Ligue 1 club RC Strasbourg.

The Blues disclosed this in a statement via their website, thanking the defender for his contribution at Stamford Bridge.

Samuels-Smith joined Chelsea from Everton in July 2023.

He featured for Chelsea’s Under-18s and Under-21s during his time at the west London club.

Samuels-Smith was part of the Chelsea squad that won the Under-18 Premier League South title in May 2024.

He also helped the Under-21s reach the Premier League 2 play-offs twice.

“We thank Ishe for all his efforts during his time at Chelsea and wish him well as he takes the next step in his career with the Ligue 1 club,” Chelsea’s statement read.
