Popular Nigerian rapper Blaqbonez has opened up about the reasons behind his recent physical transformation, following fans’ concerns over his significant weight loss.

The ‘Go Crazy’ crooner recently shared new photos of himself on social media platform X, which quickly drew attention and sparked worry among followers. One fan went as far as commenting, “You’re dying bro,” highlighting the drastic change in the rapper’s appearance.

In response, Blaqbonez clarified that his weight loss is not health-related but rather due to challenges with his diet while abroad. According to him, he finds it hard to eat outside Nigeria because of his strong preference for local cuisine.

He revealed that he’s been out of the country for nearly two months, working tirelessly on his upcoming album. The unfamiliar food options, he said, have made it difficult for him to eat regularly.

“My problem is I only like Nigerian food,” he explained. “So whenever I leave the country, I struggle to eat. I’ve been on the road for almost two months, barely eating, because I want to give you guys the best album experience ever. I’ll gain some weight soon. No excuses.”
