Mohbad: Verydarkman Reacts To Adura’s Interview, Questions Key Details
Nigerian social media commentator Martins Vincent Otse, better known as Verydarkman (VDM), has responded to a recent interview granted by Adura Aloba, the younger brother of the late singer Ilerioluwa Aloba, popularly known as Mohbad.
In the interview, Adura recounted disturbing details about the day of Mohbad’s death, including hearing a scream from the singer’s room and later finding him lying on the floor.
Reacting to the revelations, VDM, who had earlier spoken with individuals close to Mohbad, posed several probing questions for Adura. One major concern he raised was why Adura failed to seek urgent help when Mohbad’s condition deteriorated. VDM stated that, in such a dire situation, he would have immediately called for emergency assistance instead of waiting for a nurse reportedly coming from Cotonou.
He also questioned the presence of excessive blood on Mohbad’s clothing and bedding, referencing past claims made by the late singer’s father and aunt, who described finding large amounts of blood at the scene. VDM asked how such bleeding could occur if, as claimed by Primeboy, the injury Mohbad sustained was only minor.
VDM further revealed that he contacted the interviewer who spoke with Adura. According to him, the interviewer claimed Adura was uninterested in meeting with VDM. In response, VDM urged fans to encourage Adura to reconsider, clarifying that he had never initiated interviews with anyone each had reached out to him voluntarily.
To facilitate a conversation, VDM offered to cover flight expenses for Adura and his manager, and provide accommodation in quality hotels. He also expressed willingness to travel to Lagos if Adura preferred not to come to Abuja.
Addressing criticism, VDM firmly denied receiving any form of payment to advocate for justice in Mohbad’s case. He maintained that both Adura and Wunmi, Mohbad’s partner, remain subjects of public scrutiny until the truth is fully established. His ultimate aim, he said, is to ensure justice is served and that Nigerians get full clarity on the circumstances surrounding Mohbad’s tragic death.
