A playful exchange between Nigerian singer Tems and a young male fan had the crowd buzzing during one of her recent live performances.

While performing, Tems approached the fan to serenade him — a regular part of her set. She asked his name, where he was from, and then how old he was. Upon learning he was just 22, Tems hesitated, clearly amused and unsure whether to continue.

Sensing her pause, the fan cheekily responded, “It’s okay, I like older women,” sparking laughter from the audience and Tems herself.

Amused, Tems smiled and continued her performance, telling him, “Look me in the eyes while I’m singing.”
