Mohbad: VeryDarkMan Claims K-Solo Was Arrested Over False Allegations

Nigerian social media commentator Martins Vincent Otse, popularly known as Verydarkman (VDM), has continued to shed light on the ongoing inquiry into the tragic passing of singer Ilerioluwa Aloba, also known as Mohbad.

VDM had earlier vowed to launch his own independent probe into the circumstances surrounding the late artist’s death. He began by speaking with close associates of Mohbad, including his childhood friend Primeboy, a female friend named Dominica, and the driver who took him to his last performance in Ikorodu.

In a fresh update posted on Instagram, VDM claimed that music producer and singer Solomon Oyeniyi, better known as K-Solo, was apprehended and is now in custody at the Force Criminal Investigation Department (FCID) of the Nigerian Police Force.

According to VDM, K-Solo’s arrest stemmed from what authorities believe were false claims made during a national television interview. In the video, K-Solo reportedly alleged that music executive Naira Marley may have been involved in Mohbad’s death and insisted that he should be investigated.

VDM stated that when interrogated, K-Solo allegedly failed to offer any substantial information and instead resorted to pleading with law enforcement officers.

Expressing his confidence in the direction the investigation is heading, VDM said this was just the beginning of the journey toward justice for Mohbad. He called on more people to come forward with information, especially regarding what took place after the singer’s last performance.

Referencing previous interviews, VDM criticized Mohbad’s widow for not revealing details about the events that unfolded at home after the show. He also accused another figure, Wunmi, of attempting to mislead the public and divert attention from the actual cause of death.

Reacting to a blog post suggesting Wunmi was being unfairly treated, VDM said he was encouraged by the responses in the comment section, which he believed showed that the public was thinking critically.

He concluded by promising to keep updating his followers, stressing that the case is more complex than it seems and that the full truth would soon emerge.
