In an unexpected twist, TikTok personality and disc jockey, DJ Chicken, born Ademola Abiodun, has stirred controversy online after taking shots at rapper Olamide just days after publicly thanking him for a generous cash gift.

DJ Chicken had earlier gone online to show appreciation to Olamide, following reports that the rapper gave him N8.1 million. He expressed his gratitude and excitement, saying:

“20k, aahh! My fans, we are going to enjoy the money together. Do you know how much that is in Naira? Olamide Baaddo, God will continue to bless you. My fans were saying he gifted money, but I was sleeping then. So, I will collect N8.1 million from Tunde Perry just like this. I’ve never collected money from Olamide before, even when I was broke.”

However, in a new live session, DJ Chicken made a sharp U-turn. In a clip that has since gone viral, he dismissed the rapper, calling him “an unfortunate fellow.” He downplayed the value of the N8 million, claiming he had already spent it on flexing.

He further insisted that Olamide didn’t help him in any way, adding that he was actually the one who helped the rapper.
