Popular Nollywood actress, Rita Edochie, recently took to social media to share a heartwarming video featuring herself and veteran actor Pete Edochie on a movie set, both dressed in coordinated traditional outfits.

In the video, Rita poses beside Pete while offering praises in the Igbo language, expressing her deep admiration and affection for him. She referred to Pete as the “best father-in-law ever seen on the planet earth,” adding several traditional titles and praises to describe his greatness.

Her full Caption reads:

“The best father inlaw ever seen on the planet earth. Onunaenyi na Nteje Abogu, Agabaiduu na Aguleri, the lion of Africa, Nnam Ebubedike uwa m. Ozo ngi ga abu nna dim biko. Ebubeagu na ibobo di gi na aru kalili nnam. It is always well with you. Great lovers of Rita Edochie, please join me and appreciate, celebrate the symbol of Edochies na Nteje Abogu and beyond.”

Rita’s post came shortly after she appeared to subtly respond to Yinka Theisen, the estranged partner of Linc Edochie, in light of a recent interview Yinka granted Uche Maduagwu.

In the interview, a visibly emotional Yinka accused Rita of contributing to the rift between her and Linc, alleging that Rita’s disapproval stemmed from her association with politician Femi Fani-Kayode.
