UNIMAID issues important notice on use of the University Logo

The University Management has noted with concern the arbitrary use of different types of the University Logo on publications and other sundry items.

The Management wishes to bring to the attention of the University community that the University logo is trademarked and protected under the intellectual property law. There is the need to adopt and consistently use the original logo as captured by the University of Maiduguri statute in all official and public communications, both digital and print.

All faculties, departments, directorates, research centres, student bodies and affiliated institutions of the University are hereby requested to use the original logo which represents the identity, heritage, and integrity of the institution.

The use of all previous unofficial or modified versions of the University logo should be discontinued forthwith.

The original logo is available for download from the University website or can be obtained from the Directorate of Media and Information upon request
