Popular Nigerian skitmaker Kamo State has taken to social media to appreciate renowned actress and filmmaker Funke Akindele for her generosity, despite her request to keep it private.

During an Instagram Q&A session, the comedian revealed that Funke Akindele had recently gifted him a brand-new iPhone 16 Pro Max, reportedly worth N2.4 million, just a week ago. According to him, she had warned him not to publicize the gift online—but he couldn’t hold back his excitement.

He described Funke as a “mother to many”, acknowledging that she has been a source of immense support not only to him but also to his family.

In his words:

“Funke Akindele is a mother to many, even before I met her. I am just the dramatic son; that’s why mine is loud. Just last week, she bought me an iPhone 16 PROMAX for N2.4M and warned me not to post it. The things I post about her are just 1% out of the 100% she has done for me and my family.”

His revelation has drawn admiration from fans, many of whom praised Funke Akindele for her consistent support of young talents in the industry.
