2baba Shuts Down Financial Struggles Rumours
Nigerian music legend Innocent Idibia, popularly known as 2Baba, has responded to recent rumours suggesting he might be facing financial hardship.
In a revealing conversation on the latest episode of the +234 Mzansi Podcast, co-hosted by actor and media figure Chinedu Ani Emmanuel (aka Nedu), the African Queen crooner firmly debunked the speculation, stating he is financially secure.
“I’m not broke. I invested my money. I can live with or without music,” 2Baba confidently declared during the now-viral episode.
The award-winning artist explained that, although he may not constantly appear in the media spotlight or flaunt wealth online, he has made smart financial decisions and enjoys a comfortable lifestyle.
2Baba shared that he doesn’t feel the need to maintain a flashy public persona or compete for attention in the entertainment space. He emphasized that he’s content with where he is in life and no longer feels the urge to prove anything to anyone.
“I don’t have anything to prove to anybody anymore. I’ve done my part, and I’m still involved in things behind the scenes,” he added.
He also subtly addressed fans and critics who compare him to younger artists who dominate social media and entertainment news.
“Not everybody has to be on the gram 24/7 to prove success. I’m chilling,” he concluded, reinforcing his peace with his current life path beyond fame.
