Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for admission to the Open and Distance Learning (ODL) undergraduate degree programmes of the Centre for Distance Learning and Continuing Education (CDL&CE), University of Abuja, for the 2026/2027 Academic Session. The programmes are as follows:

D. Admission Requirements

Applicants seeking admission to the programmes must have:

i) A minimum of five credit passes, including English Language and Mathematics, at not more than two (2) sittings from recognized examination bodies such as SSCE/WASC, GCE 'O' Level, NECO, NABTEB, or TCII.

ii) Two 'A' Level passes with a minimum of five 'O' Level credit passes in relevant subjects.

iii) Direct Entry (DE) applicants must have at least four (4) credits in relevant subjects including English Language and Mathematics in SSCE or NECO (not more than two sittings), with at least two passes in 'A' Level G.C.E. or Diploma at Upper Credit level or 10 points in IJMB. NECO holders with a minimum of Ten points from a recognized institution in addition to five 'O' Level credit passes may also be considered.

E. Duration and Mode of Study

Programmes run for four or five years depending on entry qualifications. Study is mainly through Online Course Delivery, Multi-media Resources, Audio-Visual Materials (CDs, DVDs, Disks, etc.)

F. Method of Application

1. Visit www.cdlce.uniabuja.edu.ng

2. Click on CLICK HERE TO APPLY

3. Select the mode of study FACE-TO-FACE OR ODL

4. Click the APPLY button

5. Fill in your details (Surname, First Name, Other Name, Email, Phone Number)

6. Generate RRR for payment

7. Make payment via REMITA (Master Card or Visa Card)

8. After payment, log out. Log back in with the generated Application Number and Surname to continue

G. Application Fee

₦20,000 only via REMITA platform (excluding Bank Charges)

H. Mode of Payment

Full payment (100%)
