The Industrial Training and Coordinating Unit (ITCU) is urging students who are due for SIWES II from the Faculty of Engineering and Engineering Technology and Faculty of Environmental Technology to complete their Registration via the normal Registration Portal. Upon registration, students will gain access to print their I.T. Letters via siwes.atbu.edu.ng which must be submitted to their respective placement organizations.

The Industrial Training for students from the Faculties of Environmental Technology and Engineering and Engineering Technology is Eight to Ten (8-10) Weeks beginning at the end of the Second Semester of the Second Year and Six Months at the beginning of the Second Semester of the Fourth Year (SIWES I & II).

The closing date for the submission of ‘Letter of Acceptance’ is Monday, 7th July, 2025 (within a period of Three Weeks). A severe penalty will be imposed on any Student who fails to comply with this directive within the stipulated period. However, the ITCU reiterate the importance of SIWES which provides invaluable practical experience, bridging the gap between Theoretical Knowledge and Real-World Application.
