Nigerian actor and activist Mr. Macaroni has showered praise on chess maestro Tunde Onakoya for his remarkable work through the Chess in Slums Africa initiative, which empowers underprivileged children using the game of chess.

In a recent social media post, Mr. Macaroni described Onakoya’s efforts as “tremendously inspiring” and a shining example of how individuals can contribute to nation-building in unique ways.

His statement comes in the wake of Onakoya’s visit to President Bola Tinubu, where he presented his Guinness World Record certificate for the longest chess marathon, along with a symbolic gold-plated Adire chess set.

Mr. Macaroni wrote:

“The work Tunde Onakoya is doing is not just commendable, it is tremendously inspiring!!! At the end of the day, what we all want is a better Country that we all can be proud of and there are different ways to achieve that. We all must play our part”.
